While our team was cupping through coffees in Huila this coffee jumped off the cupping table, and everyone was scoring it in high 90’s. The group decided to go and visit the farm, and found that everything growing on the farm was abnormally large from the coffee trees to the banana and papaya trees. The coffee trees were tall, spindly trees with huge leaves and bowing to the ground with cherries. Helver Cordoba clearly has something special going on at his farm, but it wouldn’t happen without a ton of hard work and the desire to produce the best coffee possible.
RICH SWEETNESS, INTENSE TROPICAL FRUIT, SYRUPY, SUGARY COLA, BROWN BUTTER PECAN
For the second year running, We are very excited to offer another Kossa Geshe coffee from Producer Abdul-Wahid. Part of the sucess of the Kossa Geshe farm comes from a closely monitered nursery where baby coffee tree's are cared after in the shade. There is a natural spring on the farm, that provides an organic source of water. All of this make for a cup that is very fruit forward and balanced.
STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM, RICH, SWEET ORANGE JUICE
Our deepest, darkest blend of Central and South American beans. We aim to capture the body and flavor of the coffee that New Orleanians have loved for generations. Smooth, smoky and assertive.
