Jorge transformed forested land into a flourishing farm, cultivating bourbon and caturra varieties. Jorge’s legacy of quality and community continues to thrive in every bean produced at Finca La Bolsa. Today, his family runs the farm with the same passion and commitment.

When we started the company, if you place your order by 10 am, it was roasted that day and shipped to you. We still adhere to those foundational principles today, and all orders are roasted to order. Anything placed before 8am will roast and ship that day. Anything after 8 am will be roasted and shipped the next day.
We choose beans from farmers and cooperatives who share our commitment to sustainability, quality, and ethical practices. The countries of origin are listed on each of the coffee descriptions.
