Guatemala Vides Family

Established in 1958 by Jorge Vides, a dedicated doctor and visionary coffee grower, Finca La Bolsa in Huehuetenango has become a beacon of excellence. While being a full time doctor, working Monday through Friday and constantly scheduling visits to his patients from various regions of the country, the farm was his real hobby. His passion for health led him to become Director of the National Hospital of Huehuetenango, which to this day, bears his name. Jorge transformed forested land into a flourishing farm, cultivating bourbon and caturra varieties. Jorge’s legacy of quality and community continues to thrive in every bean produced at Finca La Bolsa. Today, his family runs the farm with the same passion and commitment.
